SENIOR AI ENGINEER
Atomic is looking for an experienced senior engineer to direct the development of AI systems for a highly anticipated historically themed military shooter.
You will have the autonomy you want -- as well as the support you need -- to create original, world-class applications and entertainment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct the development of flexible AI system code, AI behaviors and in-game tools for editing and debugging AI logic.
Participate in the implementation of core AI systems and features.
Work closely with design team to understand AI requirements for game titles.
Participate in project planning and scheduling.
Provide accurate time estimates for completion of engineering tasks.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and ideas in AI technology.
Mentor junior level software engineers.
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. or Masters Degree in Computer Science.
Minimum of 6 years videogame industry experience and 2 shipped console titles.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an AI Engineer in the videogame industry.
Excellent working knowledge of C and C++.
Sincere interest in developing process around AI systems including the use of AI debugging tools.
Ability to finish tasks on time with a high level of code quality.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Excellent planning and documentation skills.
Passion for making and playing videogames.
Legal U.S. work authorization required.
HELPFUL:
Console development experience, preferably Xbox 360 or PS3.
Previous experience working with multiplayer titles involving networked AI.
Experience working with Lua or other scripting languages.
Team leadership experience.
